Welcome to Stress Free Laundry! My name is Jami L. Luther, and I founded this small business with a simple yet powerful goal: to provide a much-needed service to our wonderful community here in Cortez. Having lived in Colorado for most of my life, and being born and raised in Durango and Silverton, I have a deep connection to this area. My professional and personal life has spanned various fields, giving me a unique perspective on the needs of busy individuals and families. The inspiration for Stress Free Laundry came from recognizing the pressures of modern life. People have stressful lives, and some household duties, like laundry, can unfortunately add to that stress. My goal is to help people relieve some of that overwhelming stress, a little at a time. Through Stress Free Laundry, I aim to offer a convenient and reliable service that eases this burden. My experiences, particularly working in schools and retail, along with many conversations with family and friends, showed me just how valuable a service like this would be to our community. Stress Free Laundry is a one-person operation, not a large corporation. I simply wanted to start a small business in this great community that truly supports small businesses. I believe in the power of community and the importance of making everyday life a little easier. That's why the core message of Stress Free Laundry is: "Less Stress, More Fresh."
